Welcome to my blog
I'm excited to provide this blog for updates of what is going on in the publishing and editing world. From time to time, you will find book reviews here that don't make it into Regional Reads. Other times, you will find writing hints, links to sites that will be of value to writers who are just starting out, and other information that will hopefully be of interest to anyone who is interested in writing, reading, or editing. Don't expect long, long posts--just a paragraph or two because you are busy and so am I. Looking forward to hearing from you as the spirit or the topic moves you.

Charlene, My name is Ann Pocock Smith and I live in Logan, Utah. I enjoy reading your column every Friday in the Herald Journal. My brother, Charles L. Pocock, who lives in Colorado has written a number of books - 2 currently which you may be interested in reviewing for the Herald Journal. He grew up in Logan, attended USU, graduated, entered the USAir Force, retired from there, worked in the pulic sector and now is quite an avid author.
ReplyDeleteHe wrote our father's biography, then a book about his tour of duty in Vietnam, Viper-7, and now most currently two books available at lulu.com, Pygmalia, a western contemporary novel and The Journals of James Taylor, the story of a civil war soldier. Both of these current books have a lot of Cache Valley, Mormon culture and history in them which readers would recognize, especially those growing up in Charles' era. I'm sure he'd love to give you more information. His email address is: av8shun@comcast.net. Thanks. Hope to hear from you.
